ALT Advisory presented to the Kenyan Working Group on the Development of a Policy and Regulatory Framework for Privacy and Data Protection. The presentation focused on the constitutional and regulatory frameworks relating to privacy and data protection in South Africa, the impact that regional and international developments in data protection have had on South Africa, and practical lessons that have been learnt. The Working Group is currently engaged in developing a comprehensive data protection law for Kenya.
