What we do?
We’re a public interest advisory and research firm based in Johannesburg, South Africa working for positive change. We envisage inclusive and empowering societies in which fundamental rights are protected and promoted on- and offline.
We assist a variety of clients with advisory, analysis, research, and training services in the areas of public law, information rights, data privacy, and emergent tech and innovation.
We assist organisations with achieving their public interest objectives and promoting postive change.

Developing the private-public interest law model
ALT Advisory, in partnership with Power Singh Inc., seeks to self-fund public interest projects and litigation and develop the private-public interest law model to facilitate access to justice and legal services in South Africa, and on the African continent.
In developing the private-public law firm model, ALT Advisory, which is managed by the same Directors as Power Singh Inc., contributes a large percentage of its annual profits to funding public interest projects and litigation within Power Singh Inc.
