IEC deadline for applications for election observer organisations
The South African Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) is receiving applications from organisations that seek to undertake election observation to observe the 2019 National and Provincial Elections in South Africa.
The role of observers is to keep an eye on the voting process at voting stations, the counting of votes, and the final counting, determination and declaration of results. Election observation is a voluntary activity with no remuneration.
The deadline for applications is 17h00 on 5 December 2018. Applications can be emailed to [email protected].
