South Africa’s newly-established Advertising Regulatory Board now receiving complaints
South Africa’s newly-established Advertising Regulatory Board (ARB) has officially launched, and is responsible for administering the Code of Advertising Practice on behalf of the advertising and marketing industry.
The ARB is a self-regulatory body that replaces the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), following the ASA being placed under liquidation proceedings in September 2018.
There ARB is now receiving complaints from members of the public regarding infringements of the Code of Advertising Practice. Complaints can be emailed to [email protected] or via the complaints page: http://www.arb.org.za/phone/complaints.html.
The ARB’s website is available here: http://www.arb.org.za/.
