Call for comment on IEC candidates
The Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs has called for public comment on the candidates who have been shortlisted for possible appointment as commissioners on the Independent Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC).
The deadline for comment is 24 August 2018, and must be emailed to [email protected].
The shortlisted candidates are as follows:
- Rev Bongani Blessing Finca
- Ms Maletlatsa Monica Ledingwane
- Ms Nomonde Tantaswa Mapetla
- Dr Nomsa Praisy Masuku
- Mr Mosotho Simon Moepya
- Ms Bernedette Muthien
- Ms Liepollo Lebohang Watseba Pheko
- Judge Dhayanithie Pillay
