ALT Advisory is participating in the Internet Governance Forum 2025

We’re participating in the 20th Annual United Nations Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in Lillestrøm, Norway this week.

📌 On Wednesday, 25 June (Workshop Room #2) at 14h00 (UTC+2), ALT Advisory’s Managing Director, Michael Power, is participating in a panel with the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, South Africa’s Department of Basic Education, and Norway’s Humanitarian Innovation Programme on “Protecting Refugees: Digital Resilience and Information Integrity” to discuss a pilot project in South Africa that we’re supporting on pre-bunking anti-foreigner narratives in South African Schools.

📌 On Thursday, 26 June (Workshop Room #3) at 09h00 (UTC+2), ALT Advisory Director, Tina Power, is participating in a panel which we’re co-hosting with UNICRI – United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute on “Research to Action: Cybercrime & Justice in Africa” to present the findings of an upcoming research report that we prepared for UNICRI.
